TORCHWOOD?

 I almost never watch TV so I didn't know what you're referring to and had to look it up.  Here's the message I get on the stoatputer when I go to the Official Torchwood site:

It hasn't been released on DVD yet in the USA, but the reviewers at Amazon love it.

It's my favorite show on BBC America. It is on my never miss list. I have the entire first season on DVR or transferred to DVD. If you liked X-Files, Men in Black, etc. you would like Torchwood. It's done by the same team that does the new Doctor Who episodes.

By the way, there are other web sites which are not blocked.

Proving that Torchwood has been a success in the US, BBC America has announced that they'll be airing the second series even earlier than imagined -- in January, according to the Doctor Who News Page.

I'm impressed that this time it looks to be nearly simultaneous with the UK release -- certainly the shortest gap yet for either Doctor Who or Torchwood.

And with January looking very grim for American television due to the writer's strike -- this could be an especially good opportunity for British imports like Doctor Who and Torchwood.
