> Never heard of it. Can someone provide a very brief synopsis of the show?
It’s like Quantum Leap but not as good.
I'm going to respectfully disagree. I watched both Quantum Leap and have watched every Journeyman, and while they're similar in that they involve time travel and revising events in the past to make for better outcomes in the future, where Journeyman makes a departure is the introduction of a forward leaping counterpart (from the 1940's) and the way that our hero affects his own future by his actions in the past.
There is also the mystical element of why he is jumping back and forth and why his former fiancee is jumping forth and back (since she's the one who comes from the 1940's).
I actually feel that Journeyman is superior in that it doesn't involve a sappy computer that is communicating with the protagonist (Ziggy) and that the plot line has the main character smartly reveal his predicament to his wife via the placing of an artifact in a secure place long ago (during a leap) to prove his existence in the past.
I have really enjoyed it and I consider it my favorite show in primetime.
