Kevin McKidd was great in HBO’s Rome. I had a feeling he was going Stateside, because he’s got charisma. I watched a couple of episodes because the premise isn’t that bad. You could call it a present-day Quantum Leap.

One thing to notice @ the end: the production company is called Left Coast Productions. I saw a link on TV Guide before that just like Bionic Woman, they have a ratings problem so this wouldn’t surprise me.

I've never seen (or heard of) Quantum Leap, but I looked it up on IMDB. There goes my "original premise" theory. ;o) Still liked the show, though.

He was great in Trainspotting too.

In all honesty, does it really matter that they are cancelling these shows? It’s not like they were coming back anytime soon, with the writer’s strike going on.

I too thought Rome was awesome. I was much more disappointed when I heard there were only two seasons of that (then I am about JourneyMan).
