I have not been this enthusiastic about a candidate since Ronald Reagan, nor have I ever written a letter to the editor before.
But Gov. Mike Huckabee has sparked that interest, and I strongly believe that he, like Ronald Regan, will be a great leader for our country.
What I like about Governor Huckabee is that he believes this is a great country with great people in it, and if given the chance they can make this country great. He believes that the people know what is best for our country, not the government.
By watching and listening to Governor Huckabee I feel that he strongly believes in our constitutional rights, and if given the opportunity, I believe that he will defend those rights.
He believes that our rights were not given to us by the government, but rather they are a gift from God. He strongly believes that the government is here to protect us, not to provide for us.
I urge all who read this letter to take some time and look at Gov. Huckabee's Web site and see for yourself what this man stands for and what he can offer this country as president.
I truly believe this man can move this country forward and protect our freedoms. I believe that this man has hope for a better future for the American people.
Let’s see. Huchabee will tax the hell out of us, educate all illegal aliens for free in order to level the playing field, (only Christian thing to do), make us all go on diets to lose weight, force us to be as compassionate as he, and endure a flood of more illegal imagration, Give away the entire store, AND make us all quit smoking!!! About the only thing positive is that he hasn’t proposed dress codes for the entire nation. Guess that’s next.
But wait! There's more! I bet Ron Popiel sold this guy not one but two pocket fishermen.

LOL!
I nominate this as post of the day. Yes, it's that good.
Which is ironic, since she herself has zero foreign policy experience, unless you count eight years as "co-president" in which case she is bound by term limits.
He set a goal of $1,150,000 by December 15th. I don't think he's going to make it.
I'll say one thing. This election has completely proved that the media is hopelessly corrupt.

Thanks for the compliment, Trisham. Also Catholic avid gardener, and Fredhead.
Nice to meet you. :)
To quote Thomas Paine: "Some writers have so confounded society with government, as to leave little or no distinction between them; whereas they are not only different, but have different origins. Society is produced by our wants and government by our wickedness; the former promotes our happiness positively by uniting our affections, the latter negatively by restraining our vices. The one encourages intercourse, the other creates distinctions. The first is a patron, the last a punisher." Common Sense (1776)
Amen to that!
I think you are quoting the December figures, not the 4Q amounts.
That does make me shiver too. Hold onto your wallet!

Very nice catch.
Huckabee is down 3 points from his high 2 days ago in the daily Rasmussen poll. Blip? Trend? We shall see.
