I saw it. Bad writing and acting. If that's not enough, the story pissed me off because it seems anti-Christ and anti-Catholic.

Haven’t seen it. Have heard it’s supposed to be about abortion and forgiveness.

Since all the good actors and writers these days seem to be obsessed with making movies about how Iraq has turned America into Amerika, I suppose we can’t fault a movie with a small budget for being short on both commodities.

I agree. The acting is uneven, sometimes good, sometimes awful. The depiction of Catholicism is bizarre yet inaccurate. The writer/director can’t possibly be Catholic. Even an angry former Catholic wouldn’t have botched things this badly: a priest walks into a church but doesn’t genuflect, immediately walks into a confessional even though that’s not his parish, breaks the seal of confession for a trivial reason, I could go on. This makes me think I can write a movie about Buddhists: I know next to nothing about Buddhism, but hey, that didn’t stop the writer of Noelle, who seems to know next to nothing about Catholicism. I recommend that people see Bella instead.
