Should the Pasadena man who shot two alleged thieves be prosecuted?
Yes, he broke the law when he shot the men.
No, he did the right thing.
I don't know.

“Dyna Chrome” is a 20 year old female.
You do not have to say alleged. It is only the jury that has to allege.
Dont try to Freep, You have to register as a member and was a probllem getting back to FR!
The two illegals were already judged as a threat by mr. Horn.
I use bugmenot.com
“Lezbe Friends” gets email quite regularly from the clinton campaign!
“Arec Ballwin” is also friends with the leftist thugs.
Dear Arec, On Monday, we launched the Unite for a Progressive President campaign and thousands of you signed the call to action. Today, we start making it happen. Whether you support Congressman Kucinich, Senator Edwards, or Senator Obama it is time to let Iowa DFA members know where you stand. But that’s not all; Iowa voters need to know that we are depending on them to not the leave the caucus room without making sure one of the top three progressives wins their caucus location. Let’s make sure Iowa Democrats know we are counting on them to Unite for a Progressive President and we’re ready to follow their lead.
Joe Horn did the right thing, I don’t care if these kids were killed! It was their FAULT!
1.) They were ILLEGAL!!!!
2.) They were robbing his neighbors house
3.) They would have gotten away otherwise
Joe Horn did the right thing, I am glad there are people like him in America. If someone was robbing me and would’ve gotten away with it unless shot dead, I would rather have them killed. What do their lives mean to me anyways but less money and more stress if they succeed!
Props to Mr. Horn!
Is the neighbor out of jail yet?
No, he did the right thing.
I actually don’t know.
I believe he most likely is, however.
No possible way to shoot them in the leg or legs? I would rather see them in prison personally.
UPDATE:
DPS was watching burglars shot by Horn
10:16 PM CST on Tuesday, December 4, 2007
Even before their deaths prompted a series of heated debates about the use of deadly force, detectives at the Department of Public Safety had their eye on Diego Ortiz and Miguel Dejesus.
The two were shot and killed by Joe Horn, a Pasadena man who thought they were burglarizing his neighbors home last month.
According to a DPS memo obtained by 11 News, the department was investigating the use of Puerto Rican birth certificates by Colombians seeking to obtain Texas drivers licenses.
Both Ortiz and Dejesus had applied for licenses. Dejesus listed his country of origin as Puerto Rico, but both men were Colombian.
Apparently, the DPS is investigating hundreds of immigrants who may have used illegal papers to get Texas licenses.
But thats not all.
A much wider probe has been launched into an organized syndicate of Colombians who are engaged in illegal weapons sales and home break-ins just like the one Ortiz and Dejesus were involved in last month in Pasadena.
That day, Joe Horn and a shotgun stood in the way of the suspected thieves, but in many instances the suspects have gotten away.
The ATF, ICE and DPS have reportedly formed a task force to bring the crime wave to an end.
The burglars are said to be very effective at what they do, conducting extensive surveillance on their targets before striking. Some of the suspects are extremely violent.
The investigations have already led to several arrests.
I would give Joe Horn a medal. He rid his state of 2 bad illegals & is did the job fast & saved the state money too. I don’t like people taking the law into their own hands but we can not be victims any longer IMHO.
I think Joe Horn is a hero. Who knows how many people these two bad guys killed back home in their native Colombia? Or how many Americans they would have killed if they had gone on unrestrained?
I think he is a hero too & I hope & pray that if this does go to court he gets off. I am also praying that he isn’t harmed by anyone who holds a grudge against him.
OK! My house! (I am a real good cook, Joe Horn.....)
wink-wink
Yorkie you are just too funny....I needed that laugh! Hugs ~Pandy~
