OK, got a moment after services to put something on here for you MEG!

Oh hallowed night in starlight so bright
we celebrate His birth among us that night
as Angels sang of a coming of man’s King
Herod feared his title lost as men did sing
sent the Magi to discover Him so to expose
but they followed a dream sent in repose
The Dove was safe in Egypt until recall
after Herod’s final mortal moment’s fall
Celebrate the birth of the King of Kings
who’s songs of praise the ages will ring
Merry Christmas
As we celebrate Jesus birth
A day that is to be filled with mirth
A day that to be kind to one another
And treat all as if they were your brother
But in modern times both near and afar
All that is heard are the drums of war
People affected by the wars misery
Will be written in the pages of history
The days prior to Christmas the merchants were stocking their shelves
As employees were acting as elves
The lights and signs beckoned the shoppers to come in and look at his wares
And spend money so freely and without a care
To see smiling faces on Christmas morn
While some forget that Jesus is born
And the Credit Card Companies are clapping their hands with glee
Imagining that they will get usurious percentage fee
We should not forget to celebrate Jesus birth
A day that to be filled with mirth
A day that to be kind to one another
And treat all as if they were your brother
