Question:

If you shovel and de-ice the driveway and sidewalk, are you telling people that you have made the passageway to your house safe and should be free from lawsuit if they stumble and hurt themselves, or, If you do nothing, aree you telling the person enter my property at your own risk and are free from lawsuit should thay enter, fall and hurt themselves?

Well, the city owns the sidewalks and it is the responsibility of the owner of the house, whatever to keep them cleared.If they do not the city will and they will charge the owner for doing so.

I had to go out for drugs. Got stuck behind a school bus.

Everyone who entered the pharmacy I was just at could've broken their neck because there's no way to avoid climbing a line of snowplow drift around the entrance. But they don't

You get those scam entrepreneurs in the city, mostly. Some of those people even know which state to sue in for the biggest rewards and MA isn't one of them.

I only put up the sign for recreational purposes.
