I think it takes him some time to pick the lock on the leg irons, especially since he uses a unmodified coat hanger and a fair measure of luck! I’m off to bed, got a sermon tomorrow and ought to be awake if I expect that of anyone else!

Good morning Lairites! THe temps here are a little chilly 37 degrees. Not bad, but for those folks here in California, one would think that we were at the Artic Circle.
Today's virtual breakfast includes: - Eggs any style - 8 oz. T-bone Steak - Country Fried Potatoes - Silver Dollar Size Pancakes - Grits w/butter or gravy - Assorted breads - Assorted Jellies and Jams - Assorted Chilled Juices - Assorted Fresh Fruits - Yogurt - Texas-size Bear-Claw Pastries - Chilled White and Chocolate Milk - Columbian Coffee
Bon Appetit, Chef Tude

Good morning Kathy. We fortunately do not get snow here in Silicon Valley. For if we did, I would fill my Thermos with hot chocolate and and walk about 2 blocks to the highway overpass and sitdown and watch the California drivers attempt to drive in the snow. I would not joinn them in this foray, for when it rains they drive faster than normal.

Even here, on the first snow day, you would enjoy the snow....always upwards of 100 fender benders all over town. It is amazing that the numbers rarely vary. You would think some folks would learn.

You are absolutely correct about them learning. In the valley we have a lot of people that have never seen snow up close and personal so they do not know about its real dangers. The highway fatalities would certainly rise if we were to receive snow.
