Seriously, she bleached and dyed the burlap. She used to line them with nylon, rayon or silk. She loved the open weave that allowed her to adopt a new style by adding or subtracting adornments as she saw fit.

I guess with all of the hair she had on her body it didnt bother her.
Would that be why she is your ex?? OMG, ROTFLMAO!

Ah, the bleaching would break down the coarse fiber thereby, softening the fabric. The lining of silk is a nice touch. I bet she was a CHIC lady.
To: Soaring Feather
Yes, that was one of the many reasons.

She learned a lot of her dress making skills when we were stationed in Naples, Italy. Her seamstress friends would show her a lot about dressmaking and without a pattern. She did dress well. Imelda Marcos had nothing on her when it came to shoes.
Well I am off to get my locks trimmed. Be back later.

22F - time 8:36 pm. I went out today for to do an errand, it was not so bad about 32F.
It is not snowing now, nor has it today, but there is snow on the ground from the storm over last weekend.
Wow, your temps are gonna dip and dive. Shocking when that happens.
To: All
Good night everyone.

Soft the silent snow
as night falls swift
bells sweeten the night
amid the colored lights
and the mood shifts
its Christmas you know
