After the unfortunate event, the officer in charge of the vessel at the time also received a “dressing down” from his superiors...

Some of the “bestest” dressings are made with oil infusions.

I am making an olive oil/habenero infusion as we speak. Add an infused garlic vinegar and POW!

I would like to see this entire discovery enacted by Paul Newman as as a comedy vinegrette

Oil tell you what; I dont find this surprising at all.

The MSM proves they havent a thing to talk about other than salacious commentary

Yeah, but has anyone found the recipe for ‘garum’ the delicious sauce made from rotten fish?

I think it was a specialte’ de la maison that was used over likker fish, a prized species that swam in the Tiber where the sewers drained.

Well, since the ship dates from before Julius Caesar’s time, I guess the oil wasn’t meant for Caesar salad.

archeologists had assumed

ans there is the whole ball of wax re archaeologists and scientists = they are not supposed to "assume" - which can short circuit what they may find and ignore...

They are supposed to be searching and then take whatever they find and go from there...

AN international crew is OK, as long as they don’t have any Balsamics.
