You have two strong boys....pull the machines out, paint behind them and when the new ones come, you can paint the rest of the room when you feel like it! (Am I good, or what?) ;o]

Can you pull the old machines out a couple of days before to give you room to paint? That’s what I would do. If’n ya don’t do it now, you’ll be kicking yourself every time you think “I could have painted the laundry....”
Of course having just painted and floored my den, and currently snorting ibuprofens in retaliation, I’m probably more in the painting mode.
