Good to see you up and around!

I’ve done almost all I’m going to do today. I’m just going to sit back and ignore the frantic scurrying of Christmas shoppers.

Where I live, the most exciting thing we see is when the school zone crossing lights are turned off for traffic to resume it’s 35 mph speeding. ;o]

What a day. Went into the office and got waylaid by a long chat -- which was okay, but I learned that shortly before I got there they were meeting with folks from some magazine, to line me up as a speaker for a conference in October, in Las Vegas.

Then I went to do the expense report, but found I'm still one charge short. And didn't stop to think that if I had FAXed my receipts while there, I could have submitted it all from home when the last charge arrived.

Then I went and set up my first new PC (ca 1996) to try to run a Windows-clone OS on it (it has Win98), and it won't boot from the CD-ROM. Arrrgh!!!!
