Saw a triple rainbow once, ca. 1980. On a mountain road, along a ridge, it had been raining hard and suddenly stopped. When I looked down into the valley (sun behind me), I saw well over 180 degrees arc, with three bows in it. The third was hard to see. Wish I had had a camera with me.
Alone again, naturally....
