I kept moving my residence until I realized if I needed a change, I just had to take time off and drive where I wanted.

Actually, I think it was more my age that prompted the change. ;o]

Howya! Girl Scouts today. I spent the morning getting ready, and the afternoon Scouting. Last meeting until January, except for a Saturday afternoon event on the 15th.

My washing machine repairman, Vasily, said I need a new washing machine!

Sure, he’s not trying to sell me a new washer. If he (and his boss, Sergei :-) wanted to get more money out of me, he’d have said mine was worth fixing!

He fixed the worst leak with some glue, charged me for the service call, and said it would cost more than it’s worth to replace the other parts that are leaking. It’s only a small leak, now, maybe 1/4” a load. It evaporates when I run the dryer! But eventually it will go bloooey.

We’ll hit the after-Christmas sales. Somebody should have a no-interest financing deal.

Do you have a place that sells new appliances that are scratched or dented? They have a place here that lots of people shop in for appliances of all kinds.

We’re supposed to have more rain tonight. *sigh* I was going to go to a church dinner, but I hurt to much, so I’m staying here with heat on my legs. (Just because it feels good!)

Snowed in is so day before yesterday.
I’m dug out actually.

Unfortunately the upstairs fire went out over night, and it was 50 degrees in the kitchen this morning.
The upstairs is almost warm again, but we are in the basement with the wood stove.

It’s going to be a cold, snowy winter.

It’s long since gotten old here. Rain seems to have stopped, for now.

We’re looking for at least three days of wind, cold, and maybe rain, with gusting close to 60, and temps in the low 50’s for highs, and low 30’s for lows.

That’s as close to winter as I want to get. If I want snow, I’ll drive up to Mt. C.
