Sure, he’s not trying to sell me a new washer. If he (and his boss, Sergei :-) wanted to get more money out of me, he’d have said mine was worth fixing!
He fixed the worst leak with some glue, charged me for the service call, and said it would cost more than it’s worth to replace the other parts that are leaking. It’s only a small leak, now, maybe 1/4” a load. It evaporates when I run the dryer! But eventually it will go bloooey.
We’ll hit the after-Christmas sales. Somebody should have a no-interest financing deal.
Do you have a place that sells new appliances that are scratched or dented? They have a place here that lots of people shop in for appliances of all kinds.
We’re supposed to have more rain tonight. *sigh* I was going to go to a church dinner, but I hurt to much, so I’m staying here with heat on my legs. (Just because it feels good!)
