Naah, it’s okay.
We’ve got weather here too.
Looks like wintery precip all night tonight and into tomorrow.
Freezing rain, sleet, etc.

Thomas Sowell’s “Basic Economics” is great, but if they want zing, they could try P.J. O’Rourke’s “Eat the Rich” or Chris Friedman’s “Price Theory.”

That would keep them happy! I’ve gotten several that I had to play a couple of times, just because they were so cute!
Dinner here may have to create itself. I still don’t trust my stomach, so I’m not too eager to eat something very exciting. *sigh*

Having been pregnant ten times, I know how that feels. Of course, with pregnancy one gets over it eventually (at worst, in nine months!).

Of course, if you want to see REAL wind, go to Alaska. They have a little thing there called a Taku. Itll blow ya right out of the saddle!Um, no thanks. I'm as close to Alaska as I ever want to be, in December.
That big storm is blowing in here, but I think we are prepared.
Lots of water, firewood, food, refreshments, (and cigarettes). ;-)

DC, could we get the dwarven miners to sing, er, chant the book “Basic economics”?
Might liven things up down there.

Seconded.
Besides, I’d be the guy stampeded by caribou.

Many’s the time I wished I WERE pregnant, so at least I would know it had to end at some point!
For now, though, I do yogurt and quesedillas, and other mild things. (Which is why I’ve lost so much weight.)

Yah, well, it’s too dark up there for me, now. Of course, it’s too dark for me here, too, but at least we’ll have more sunshine before they do. *shiver*

The Taku could be blowing right now, if what we are having is any indication. We have our own wind. NWS is predicting 80 mph gusts today and tonight. And, no snow to keep the rocks where they belong, either. (I’m still glad I’m not in Valdez. Wind like this for weeks on end. No thanks!)

That stinks.
Roads will be fun later on.
Good luck.

Yowtch!
I think it sucks here, when we get gusts upwards of 60 mph. Of course here, your vehicles would be stripped of paint in 15 minutes, if they weren’t protected.

Oh my.
You are right in the middle of whats coming my way.
It looks like mostly rain for you. We are still at 20F, and ‘they’ are calling for up to 15” of snow.
Weather, or not.

Dunno as they would be interested in a union as we know it.
Their idea of unionizing is they get to dig and we stay out of the way.

We only have to worry about human discards, here. Folks have no clue what waste baskets and trash barrels are, so the roads are adorned with miniature missles that can poke your eye out.
