Howya, fanfan! Lots of snow and eggnog in your parts? The priest who did the “overflow” Mass that I attended at my church last night (out in the garage with the tacky in-laws :-) was Canadian; he said Quebec was six feet under, and congratulated himself on moving to South Carolina.

I haven’t had any eggnog, yet. Captain Morgan wasn’t with Santa when my house came up on the list. I’ll wait until tomorrow...

The only reason the cpos get called, here, is if someone “codes.” Once in a while, they come to bust up a domestic disturbance, but it’s a very quiet place.

I got a new keyboard from Santa, and it’s a little different-feeling than my old one. I wore the letters off that one... ;o]

We get new keyboards pretty often. The byos are hard on them! DP says he’ll get a new CPU for our old computer so the kids can play “Blue’s Clues” and “Bugs in Boxes.” James and Vlad need to learn to read, already!

The only good thing about this computer set-up is the fact that the hard drive is still using only 2% of available space. The mouse was sticking, the keyboard was “blind” and I was beyond frustrated.

So I have a new keyboard and a new optical mouse. The plasma monitor is still on it’s way....

My son sent a couple of Hoyle Game CD’s that I had given to him, so I now have games I’m familiar with, and can even BEAT!!! LOL! (I also have “Myst,” which I refuse to part with!)

My daughter’s step-kids (8 and 10) are pretty rough on keyboards, so it’s good her youngest son works at Office Depot!! He likes his job, too!

Last post?? My day's just beginning. Well sorta. Went off for Mass this morning; another fellow volunteered to serve, and because he's been sick a lot lately lately I let him. Called my sister afterwards and went over to visit a bit and deliver presents, and wound up going with her to visit her husband, who's quite far gone with Alzheimer's. Just got home a few minutes ago and now dinner preparations are started. Later we'll exchange presents.

It was a good thin I told LoM to stay home this morning; her health is rather a bit worse today.

Sounds great with the computer add-ons! I had to replace my keyboard lately because the space bar wasn’t working very well.

Definitely not. But at least we don't have to go anywhere now.

I was driving in near-blizzard conditions nearly all the way home from West Seattle (~20 miles WSW of here). Oddly it's mostly rain here -- a reverse of the usual weather pattern; I expected to be in 4WD the last stretch home.
