I thought there might be one at the PO today, with only one clerk on duty, but there wasn’t. And I still got out of there in under an hour... ;o]

Several family members are dozing, here. I’m thinking of wandering off to the couch for a while, myself. Bill is doing something in the kitchen that will be supper eventually, I suppose.

I have to go make some refrigerator roll dough for cinnamon rolls for breakfast tomorrow. That’s all my daughter wanted for Christmas, but I gave her a copy of her adoption decree, anyway. I felt a little odd, just giving her something that would be gone in 15 minutes.

I’m slightly Grinchy because I’m working and missing all the parties.

But I still made 130 dozen cookies and sent them in dozens and dozens of directions.

I suspect there is always one thing to be Grinchy about, no matter how small, during the holiday times. And that’s OK, because holidays or not, things are not always perfect!

It makes me thankful for the GOOD things that happen!

I bought myself a Kitchen Aid mixer for Christmas and had to break it in...

And an ulterior motives as well.. Had Gina and her daughter over for a cookie baking slumber party...Me had a very good time and knocked about about 40 dozen that night.

Maybe some day, I’ll treat myself to a Kitchen Aid. For now, I’ll have to do with Farberware. As long as the dough isn’t too stiff, it works fine.
