I used to donate blood, but since having CFIDS, I can’t do that any more. I was only able to donate a gallon. *sigh*
No donation of organs, either.
We’ll get the rain in the wee small hours, according to the weather guessers. I don’t know if it will be enough to do much good, but as long as the moisture continues to fall in the mountains, the lake will continue to refill.
CA, AZ and NV will all benefit. Hopefully.
I has a force field, too! I luvs it!
Here in the unenlightened Southwest we still have laws on the books preventing bunnies and dust from engaging in carnal relations.
ergo: No Dust Bunnies.
Since this is the Flying Castle, we prefer to let the Dust Bunnies handle the Zombies, lest we incur the wrath of What Lies Below All. As it is, the doors and halls have a tendency to shift at odd times, so in order to make sure the Castle Keep isn’t subject to enemies from within, we let the Dust Bunnies do the work. And the Dwarves help, of course.
(I almost hate to ask, but what kind of bike do you have?)
How does your afternoon progress?
My afternoon had a nap with baby and cat. (Shannon pounced on my feet a few times, to make sure they were dead, and then curled up on them and purred.)
How are you?
My afternoon is “warm.” My morning was cold.
I had to go to the credit union this morning, and it was just too darn cold for this mama to be out in it! LOL!
Are you buried in drifts?
Wow! The best kind of naps!
Does Tom get to keep the snake in his room? *shudder*
When I was going to school for Vet Tech, some gal brought in several snakes. It really cleared out the classroom! But I waded in and “handled” one, knowing that my job may depend on my willingness to do so.
The only way I know how to handle fear is to face it head on, and I do not like snakes! But I admire people who do, and give them the respect that is due them.
Hi TC.
That sounds warm and cozy.
Hi Face.
I’m glad you made it back through those frigid temperatures.
We just came in from making paths around the house, and digging out a window that had too much snow against it.

Hi, Sis!
Since I’m definitely a lizard on a rock, anything below 105 causes me to put on a sweater. When the temp gets to 85, I’m looking for a warmer jacket. When it gets to 65, I dig out the leg warmers, thick socks, ski gloves, heavy sweaters, flannel jammies and hot cider.
At 40 or less, it almost takes an Act of Congress to get me to go outdoors.
Stay warm!
We dug out, we have a good amount of wood inside, and we have no children tonight.
;-)
That last part was probably more than I really needed to know, but if all else fails, bundle with a buddy to keep warm... ;o]
I have a 7:30 appointment in the morning, so I’ll have to make sure my gloves are warm inside before I put my hands in them. The medical center is only half a mile from here, but I’ll run by the post office when I’m done there. Maybe the United Santas Package Service will actually have one for me!!! *snort*
The line was long, the parking lot overflowing, and lots of cranky people were standing in line when I got there to find my PO box didn’t even have any JUNK MAIL in it!! LOL!
I coulda stood in bed!
Night Sis.
*HUG*
Gee. Was it something I said? Ohyah...you’re three hours (four?) later than we are. Sorry! Sleep well, Sis!
Long day today, wrapping up some tasks I needed done before I could leave the office for the holidays. (Not that I won't be back in at all -- once the rest of the credit card transactions from this trip are in I'll have to go finish filing my expense report.) Only thing left is to write a magazine article tomorrow, then I'm really done!
So, do you get the weeks of Christmas and New Year off?
That would be good!
How did LoM like the Christmas lights?
I’m off for the night.
Ta!
