Actually, it's Latin for "body", "collection", or "main part of". Corpu being the root. French is a Latin based language.

I'm ok with the first aid and some battlefield "stuff your guts back in" type stuff... But Corpsmen are NAVY medical personnel. I was a Marine.

Much better at creating wounds than in the fixing of them...

You got it!

It may happen in Canada, but it won’t happen here! I hope you have at least one CC at hand....

Less than we were hoping we could find. But the market is still screwy up here. We may look for a vacation property up North somewhere...

All the more reason to love marines! My marine grandson, for one. I got an EXCELLENT hug from him on his way to Pendleton!

You get too far “up north” and you may have fanfan for a neighbor...

I swoon for marines, sailors, coasties and GI’s. The flyboys are the “junior service,” so they take a back seat to the big boys.

You know: If you can’t run with the Big Boys, put it back on the trailer. (racing adage)

Yep. he’s an MP. And I have a thing for MP’s, no matter what branch of the service they’re from. As a matter of fact... (nevermind)

I don’t know.

I have a soft spot for pilots.
Very soft.

Hehehe.

I like pilots. In fact, I want to take a ride in a jet at the AFB here, for my 65th birthday. (Which is a while away, of course.)

I’ll have to write to the commander and find out if it’s feasible, and see if I can also get a video of it. :o]

That would be so fascinating.

Why wait 26 years to do it?

Well, I’ll never make the news unless I’m 65! I mean...jeez...

I also want to sky dive for my 70th birthday. I’m thinking about SCUBA diving for my 75th...

I have liked scuba every tome I’ve tried it.

The ‘underworld’ is fascinating.

Been avoiding this thread.

Did you think we were all arguing ?

LOL. I guess it looks like that, eh?

It's just this months undead thread.

This is the official "No arguing" thread, and you are welcome to jump in.
Wearing shorts is considered good form, but you don't need to take a shower first. ;-)

I’m an excellent swimmer. But I need weights to get more than 4’ underwater. I would love to see what’s “there” outside of a movie, but I just don’t sink. I could float for hours.
