OK, maybe somebody out there can explain why pitchers have such a hard time with hitting? In the American League, they won't even let pitchers hit and in the National League, they keep referring to the "pitcher's spot" like it is some kind of disease or something.

If anything, you'd think pitchers would make the best hitters because they know all about pitching and can probably recognize pitches better than mose.

One of the greatest home run hitters of all time was also a pitcher - Babe Ruth.
