I guess civility isn’t one of your virtues and neither is awareness of the facts. The Red Sox and especially the Yankees subsidize teams like the Brewers with “revenue sharing” and “luxury taxes” which is nothing more than forced transfer payments from one business entity to another. After he became commissioner Selig had the team placed in a family trust so he has no say over the team’s direct operations. However, the fact that the Brewers get money from big market under an agreement that he championed as a way to create more parity in the game. He benefited from that policy until the team was sold.
