I’m not a realtor, I just love the city I live in. You sound like a guy who got scared of the city in the 80’s and holds on to that fear to this day. A lot has changed!
I live just north of Northern Liberties... renewal and growth are all around me every day. The city is alive with people and culture!
On the other hand... if you don’t care about having a lot of great options for bars and restaurants and entertainment, then why would you care?
