When my parents’ bird first came home, she took one look at the cat and said “uh-oh”. At which point the cat took off.
They have a new cat who hasn’t quite learned the rules yet. The parrot meows at him. He is quite confused.
She’s sweet - most of her language is muffled. She very clearly says Hello (in several different tones depending on whether she’s answering the phone, the door, or flirting) Hi, Hi Lorrie, Hello Lorrie, Bye-Bye, Try It (my mom), go outside (my dad), I out, and How Are? (she never go the you part down for some reason)
Her other standard is Cree-cree - which means either pretty or sleepy depending on the situation. I cree-cree is usually I pretty - just cree-cree (very pathetically said) is sleepy. I guess she can’t tell the difference in the words, but the inflection is very different.
She sounds SO sweet!
