This in my mind is significant in a few ways.
1. Munroe was on the plane with Daniel
2. How would he know this unless tablets were found in Daniel’s autopsy? Or, he knew who gave him methadone ..in tablet form!
3. If pills were found in DS’s stomach, that is significant for TOD! It would mean the OD was recent.
4. It would indicate DS voluntarily took pills. Hard to disguise as many meds in pill form that is said to have killed him.
5. It would make Munroe a liar if no pills were found in his stomach.
Why would Howie be so worried if this detail were true?
Why an inquest with this ‘sign’ of voluntary overdose?
Now that I think about it, I don’t recall Wecht ever addressing stomach contents.
