Larry Birkhead thinks his daughter is better off without grandmother Virgie Smith in her life. “Virgie continues to fight for custody in the Bahamas. She wants control of the money — that came straight from her mouth,” Larry, who was awarded custody of his 13-month-old daughter Dannielynn with Anna Nicole Smith, tells In Touch. Larry also blames Virgie for the poor light in which he and Anna Nicole are portrayed in the book, Blonde Ambition. “She obviously was working with” the author, he says.

considering he’s got temp custody, and considering that Calif is lienient with grandparents’ rights when their offspring is deceased, LB is walking a real thin line, IMO - I’d like to see the family court judge slap him down a few notches and give Virgie the baby for a few months straight “visitation” as what happens when two feuding parents try to keep a child from seeing the other.
