It’s great that The Bahamas got the “3rd opinion” there or however many that is, but there sure is a huge “gray area” in that methadone consumption analysis.
I just simply can’t comprehend why Daniel might’ve taken that many methadone pills on his own. I just can’t. They don’t make you high and the pain-killing effect doesn’t wear off that fast - unless, of course, he really did use it a lot - but Hearn and another said the tests showed he wasn’t a regular user of the drug.
Wait a minute. After writing about the “gray area” concerning Daniel’s ingestion of the large amount of methadone, I just saw this from the Nassau Guardian article:
” ... Hearn believed that Smith meant to take the drugs. “Based on the amount in the stomach, it was not an attempt to get high. There is a high degree of probability it was an intentional ingestion.” ...”
“Intentional ingestion” but “not an attempt to get high.”
Is he saying he thinks suicide or what?
