You know, I was calling Dannielynn’s condition “lazy eye,” but I don’t think that’s quite right.

I think “strabismus” is what she has and that involves both eyes, not just one. The patch is over her right eye, so it must be the strongest of the two at this point.

There *have been* studies linking methadone use during pregnancy to strabismus in babies, so maybe Kapoor’s or others’ assurances that DL didn’t experience withdrawals were not quite accurate.

At any rate, poor little thing - it may have been hard for her to learn to walk if she was seeing two different images when she looked at things. Seems like she would be dizzy, perhaps.

Of course, most babies walk like little drunken sailors at first, anyway, so who would’ve known? I’m just *very glad* that LB finally got the help for her that she needed. Bless her little baby heart.
