I thought I had read somewhere a couple of months ago that Rale had left Trope & Trope, but when I did a Google search it showed him still at Trope. I wouldn't be surprised if we learn T&T wanted to dissolve their association with him. Did you notice the specialty of the law firm he is with now? Is it a coincidence that it is "Child Custody Lawyer, Juvenile Dependency and Adoption Attorneys. Could this be a precursor of things to come?
Hi - thanks for asking about my hands - especially BadFinger. And nope, it’s still bad. I don’t know what else to do about it, except keep waiting for all the bad skin to peel away on its own.
I’ve tried to work on the Case Name List, but it’s really difficult this way. The main thing I needed to do was transfer all my files onto CDs (again) in their updated form, so I can switch computers, but it’s all highlighting and cut/paste, which is still too hard to do. I can’t rest my hand on the mouse and I have to keep the ointment on the underside of the BadFinger in order for it to eventually heal. So, I have to keep a tissue on the mouse and it needs to be changed all the time.
If I don’t keep the ointment on, it dries out and these pieces of skin try to peel off before they’re ready - and, it’s just a mess. The tops of my hands still look better and feel well, but they’re not anywhere near 100% healed. I’m so sick of oily hands I could just scream. It has only been 8 days - and I had the rash off and on for 10 months, so I’ll be patient a while longer.
I can see that the older portions of skin where the rash started look better than the newer ones, so I’m hoping that’s how the healing is kind of progressing. It’s so hard to tell “dark pink” from “lighter pink” skin when I’m looking at it on a daily basis. Now the discolored areas look more like a raw chicken breast, when they looked like baked ham the day I went to the doctor.
The bad thing is that they go back to the dark red late in the day and every time I shower, so it’s like starting all over again. But, most of the time, they look more normal. It’s BadFinger that’s so problematic - can’t put on makeup, or roll my hair, or as I’ve said before - cut things with scissors or a knife or open jars or cans - or even rummage around in drawers for things - just regular stuff we have to do every day.
The BP med they sneakily gave me has made very sick, too - so that’s just one more *lovely* thing to deal with. Sleepy ALL the time - and dizzy when I walk. And it hasn’t done a thing for my ankle that keeps swelling.
As far as Rale and the Trope firm and all that, I never have been able to sort it out to my satisfaction. Also, Family Law is pretty much the same as what T&T bills as its specialty. I’ll write a little more in a minnute.
