Was Stern trying to “protect” Anna with that lie? IOW, he thought that it wouldn’t look good for people to hear that Daniel had been sleeping in the narrow hospital bed with his mother? And why not, if it were an innocent thing?
Daniel had nearly always slept with his mother, which had always caused “talk” here in Houston. I knew next to nothing about ANS and all that, but this was the one “fact” that was always a given.
So, is that why HKS lied, if he was the one who did? Since he was the only “coherent” person there at the time, I have to *assume* he told it. What I want to know is whether this longtime habit will be brought up at the inquest.
Also, I want to know why HKS sometimes persists in this “false modesty” façade, purportedly on Anna’s behalf, now in death. Even if it’s done to protect Daniel’s image or reputation, i.e., such as the source of the abrasions, it’s time to give it up and stop the lies, so the truth can be ascertained.

You know, when I heard that Daniel was missing his pants, I had a horrible thought go through me that HKS got them off after Daniel was nearly gone or gone and ANS was out of it and put him into bed with ANS to take blackmail pics of.
