great links - Nice job plum!

I was going from memory of when they burst on the tv after a long wait for that press conference but my old brain had banked it about that time. Surprise, I had it right! That is rare without checking notes for me.

But, you must have not had your coffee yet for one. lol
You say treated as crime scene but the transcripts show it was NOT being treated as a crime scene. This is an important one I think many over looked. At the time I kept watching and waiting.. but .. saw nothing to indicate this changed. INCLUDING, Stern! Important to note.. Chief DID NOT KNOW where Stern was!!!! This verifies they indeed did not treat this even seriously from the start to me. It was those two things that stuck in my mind and I have no idea how 5 pm stayed with them but it did. My mental picture (from shock of the matters) of a chief, a death, bagging evidence ... but forked tongue says not a crime scene AND no idea where Stern is!! Unbelievable to me.

QUESTION: Is this being treated as a crime?

TIGER: Not yet. We’re just taking all the precautions right there.

well, we all know Tiger is trying to preserve the ‘image’ of the Hardrock (and the indian nation) - he didn’t treat the three-weeks prior robbery-murder at his hotel as a ‘crime scene’ either !

However, the point i was trying to make, is, Broward County WAS treating it as a potential crime scene - they were there from approx 3pm to almost midnight-—that’s a LOT of photographing, printing, categorizing and rummaging thru - for a ‘just in case’ scenario.

As someone with more than just a casual interest in photography, (assuming that from your description of the Rebel) I’m sure you realize how many rolls of film one could go thru in just one hour, much less several. Each print lifted is about a 3-4 minute process. from the time spent, that room was gone thru with a fine-toothed comb. imo., not what one would expect if the scene was ‘non-crime’ in nature.
