The tape that Rita supplied to Geraldo was much more cohesive and understandable, and she did not say “you know what I mean” as much as the tape Bain sent Larry King had her doing...even when it made no sense. Bain’s tape was choppy and, IMO, doctored. The “know what I mean” phrase never sounded any different in Bain’s tape. He admitted he and Thompson set up this sting operation on Rita, and I have to ask - WHY? I do not share the opinion of Jeanine Pirro and Craig Rivero that, “I like that man. He’s not afraid to tell it like it is (paraphrasing).” My opinion...he was not being truthful and he, Thompson, and the nannies were involved in a shakedown operation, but Rita couldn’t offer them as much money as they hoped for. At one point in his tape, he tells Rita he ‘doesn’t need her money that he is a millionaire and has more money than she does.’ If they weren’t doing it for money, then I bet someone - maybe not one of Lin Wood’s people or HKS’ lawyers - but perhaps someone living in the Bahamas was doing HKS’ bidding. JMO

I agree 100%. It is obvious to me that it was a shakedown. Lincoln Bain was evasive and claimed unable to swear to his statement because of his religion. Please! Him accusing her of sexual advances is almost comic.
