Geraldo Rivera shocked the world tonight when he showed the picture of Anna Nicole Smith clutching her dead son Daniel Smith a short while after he died in the hospital room where she had just given birth to her baby girl, Dannielynn. Howard K. Stern had shared with the world just days before on Larry King Live that he had taken the pictures at Anna Nicole’s request.
Tonight, Ford Shelly turned copies of this picture along with some video tapes of Anna Nicole Smith to Geraldo to share with the world. Ford Shelly gave a different account of how the gruesome picture came about though. Ford Shelly father, C. Ben Thompson, claimed that Howard K. Stern took the pictures stating that this would be worth money some day. C. Ben Thompson denied Mr. Sterns’s stating that Anna Nicole Smith never asked Howard to take the photos.
Ford Shelly said he planned on turning the tapes over to authorities so they can be used for an investigation into the death of Anna Nicole Smith.

Watching the replay right now. That tape with Ford Shelly’s 9 year daughter is heartbreaking. Both to see Anna transformed into a psychotic, regressed state, and also to hear the panic in the little girl’s voice, “please, Howard, please stop.”

Thanks for the link, Sun. Geraldo did shock the world. He shocked me and my husband. I watched it a second time last night with hubby and he was more disgusted than I was. That clown video was more sickening than I realized. I have to wonder if that was Mark Steines with him. I’ve never heard of Howard having friends visit, other than his family and maybe his lawyers. I hope the DOJ interviews Steines. They’ve been thick as thieves for a long time. And anyone who saw that heart wrenching picture could see that Anna was a broken woman, in no condition to tell Howard, “Hey, why don’t you take a picture of me and my dead son as a remembrance”? He’s a sick, disgusting man.
