i agree - hard to believe taking 4 different CNS depressants was ‘accidental’. but at least two of the benzie’s were hypnotics, and hypnotics can cause one to forget they took anything and so the person takes more, or takes another benzie or narcotic, and, boom - od’s.
one thing that stood out to me was the housekeeper reporting that Ledg was ‘snoring’ - not all snorers have sleep apnea, but almost all sleep apnea’ics snore - if Ledger had sleep apnea he shouldn’t have been taking ANY CNS depressants at all, much less four! benzies, and that is something he should have disclosed to his prescribing physicians.
the main cause of death in sleep apnea is brain malfunction - the apnea’ic holds their breath during sleep until the blood chemistry (too much CO2 buildup) tells the brain to tell the lungs to breathe, but sometimes the brain says, eh, why put out the effort? - so a person just stops breathing altogether and dies from heart attack. Usually after 10 or 20 seconds the brain self-corrects, and breathing starts again. But mix in CNS depressants, and the brain remains supressed and it ‘forgets’ to initiate breathing and the person dies pretty quickly.
at least, that’s how I understand it works :)
the moral of the story is, people should tell their doctor if they snore before asking for any CNSs or narcotic pain meds!
no WAY am I contributing to any non-specific fund that has HKS’s name on it, in any way shape or form!
i understood from a separate article I read that Virgie put (yes, real) pink flowers on Anna's grave the same day Birkhead/DL visited - (another article said she visited the 31st and didn't mention same day as Birkhead)
it's unfortunate, once again, she was not afforded the opportunity to see her granddaughter.
it's also unfortunate, the bahamian authorities didn't nab Birkhead for a mandatory taped depo for the inquest - instead he flys in and flys out nice as you please. I don't believe his "106 fever" story at all, and bet he comes up with more excuses for not returning for the inquest - almost as if,, he's trying to discredit his own statement made to the Bahamaian police in Jan??

I agree with your comments. It’s the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard of...leaving all those clothes and DL’s favorite toys behind in the Bahamas. I’m sure that LB and HKS did it for a reason, though, as stupid and as horrible as that reason might be.

And my head always flips back to the thought of the "Symbolic" Tiara and KE...and her telling Perper that Anna was a Queen. I'm betting the tiara was KE's idea..."The Queen Is Dead". It was a gleeful symbol and SICK!!
As far as the obnoxious ET segment last night, I was horrified when I watched it a 2nd time on the repeat - when I wasn’t trying to remember everything, I noticed something that made me sad.
When they first showed footage of LB in the Horizons nursery, they must have just then set up from whatever was the previous shot.
LB is sitting in the rocking chair with DL and she is trying like crazy to shield her eyes from the big lights (which is why I think they must have just turned them on). She gets ready to throw a fit, but has to put her hands back up to cover her eyes again.
I was aghast that I hadn’t noticed it the first time and really sad that I *did* see it in the 2nd viewing. She was *really* upset and LB distracted her, but didn’t seem to notice she had done it.
I feel certain she had learned to throw a fit over the *flash* bulb flashes and maybe other lights from paps, so she gets attention from LB and maybe he turns her around and hugs her.
Later on, she was all adjusted to the lights and just fine - in the crib.
The other thing I noticed was when LB was kinda crouching down on the floor in the nursery, trying to engage with DL in the play with the older musical toy of hers - just as the segment starts, he looks up and gives the camera a really nasty go-to-hell look for just a second.
I think that’s another part of why I can’t stand to watch him - he is always acting like having ET interview him and shoot footage with Dannielynn is the same as having paparazzi chase and harrass him - like he is being bothered by all this - so the audience doesn’t think he’s getting paid big bux for it!
I never quite understood that there was a memorial service for ANS going on - was that supposed to be today (meaning yesterday, the day of the anniversary)? It was shot before today (before Friday, I mean), so that’s why I wondered why in the world they were pretending like it wasn’t.

Did you actually see any family with him? I didn’t, the first time or the 2nd time. I don’t have Tivo, so I wasn’t FFing and RWing, but he was walking all alone. I did read that Barth was there, but didn’t really notice.
There weren’t more than 7-8 people total.
I didn’t see the closet segment (it may be on ET Monday - and I’ve stopped watching The Insider and Inside Edition unless it’s by accident)(POB is back in rehab 2nd time, I read) - but for heaven’s sakes, DL also has a huge walk-in closet full of clothes (top rack and lower, lol) in the Studio City house, too.
This is all very out-of-hand.
Oh, never mind. I think I figured it out.
I know! I have this mental picture of little Dannielynn going up to movie posters at the theater or to photos in art galleries and going “Mama!” when she finally can say the word - never any *real people*.
LB has imprinted her with the idea that Mom is a flat piece of paper or a pic on the TV screen. And now she’s a brown patch of grass light years from home!
Reminds me of how PO’ed my ex got at me for always calling my little bird dog’s attention to a recorded quail’s “bob white bob white” sound on a TV commercial for a mall with Quail in its name.
She got to where her ears would always prick up when that sound came on TV (which was often) and he was worried that she would think that was a real quail, and forget the true bird’s call between hunting seasons. (She didn’t; she knew the difference, she was a pro!)
That’s what I said. Martino didn’t intentionally introduce Harding to Daniel *as a PI* for him to hire - they just made friends at the coffee shop, Daniel kept Harding’s card, and then Daniel decided to call him on the sly.
