He had a complete unethical - probably illegal - relationship with Anna and that should be reason enough for Virgie to be able to fight him in court.
Of course she could have done that if Brikhead had not hitched himself to Howie.
If HK$ gets away with this - the whole court system needs an investigation.

Since his unethical behavior is obvious and public, it should already be looked into. Sometimes it feels as if the media deliberately tries to avoid the story.

OK, if he is no longer part of the original law firm retained by Ms Marshall, HKS will have to settle with them. If it was always “Law Offices of HKS” who was retained by Ms Marshall, then that’s all his, except for any employees or clerks or investigators or hired help he had who haven’t been paid.
THEN, that should only be up until 1999, when he *claims* he began his *intimate relationship* with Ms Marshall, whether she was aware of it or not. At that point, he was in violation of his ethical guidelines as an officer of the court, so the agreement should have been voided or could be actionable by Ms Marshall if she were alive, or by her current heir(s) - that would be Dannielynn.
THEN, there is the matter of long-standing practice that Ms Marshall had been advised by her so-called attorney not to pay the bills of other attorneys that followed after him - with the possible exception of Rale and maybe Neavitt. Would love to know their past billings to Ms Marshall and payment (or not) of same.
However, since I don’t believe there ever will BE a settlement in the Marshall v Marshall case, it’s all moot. And I’m laughing at this claim.

I am with you on that. There will never be any Marshall money going to him. He must think he is someone very special.
Larry didn’t go to Horizons on that trip - unless maybe a silent drive-by, which I’m sure he probably did. Just like the time he was in Myrtle the same time she was and he didn’t call her.
Now I’m starting to think Howard had a phone tap on Anna the whole time in CA. That’s the only way he - and now Larry, too - can claim knowing so definitively every single person Anna did or didn’t talk to during that time.
The fact that she continued texting and emailing Larry all during the pregnancy, while publicly fighting him, and Larry sent presents for Dannielynn for Christmas and maybe other occasions, tells me HKS did NOT know that was going on - or couldn’t tap her phone in The Bahamas - or was possibly in on it, with Larry, but without Anna knowing.
I’m certain HKS had a keystroke monitor on her computer, if he even needed one - which he probably didn’t - he probably just checked it every day or every few hours to know every moment of her life. I get suffocating feelings just imagining all this.
It’s not a Seidlin. He couldn’t begin to follow the ins and outs of Marshall v Marshall. It was kicked back from SCOTUS, you know - so the 9th Circus judge has to be the most top notch they have.
I know, I know, it’s SF - but still, the case is so long-lived that most either won’t want to touch it or only the most learned will demonstrate any competency in tackling it. Personally, I don’t think the kick-back will have any legs.
I can just hear his convo with Kent Richland now, on the eve of any next hearing (which I don’t think there will be, except for maybe a dismissal).

Watching a crime show today - about some illegal immigrants who became *slaves* to 2 guys who tortured and restrained them. These were healthy guys - why didn’t they escape?
Then I thought of Anna - totally drugged into addiction - 8 months pregnant - no transportation - locked doors - blocked & monitored phones and emails - she may not even had access to a phone without the creep dialling the number. No food - non-English speaking hired help. The only people she socialized with were in the creep’s pocket and I am confident she was never with other people unless the creep sat right by her side - with the drink and a straw. It is frightening - it frightened Daniel.

from anna, we know that larry was a stalker - in fact, everyone at the tiki was witness to that, lol. Can you imagine in real life your ex-boyfriend showing up to your date with a ‘i love my girlfriend’ t-shirt on? This assistant professor of law in Arlington, VA doesn’t think there will be any money either. I’d like to know what makes Howard think he’s entitled to another family’s money. Anna got what J. Howard Marshall wanted her to have and I think he was plenty generous. DL is going to end up with so many legal bills, all thanks to HKS.

He was home. Two different TV shows talked to him - one through the intercom and then Access Hollywood out in front a little later.
My guess anytime the paps were where ANS was and were snapping her, is that HKS was the one who called them.
Oh, I do think Anna was texting Larry at first and hiding it from HKS (if that was actually possible). But, I’m sure there was a showdown about it at some point.
Maybe she “lost” the battle and HKS insisted on the “Mommie Dearest” ET video as his “winnin’s.”

Now the 9th Circuit will focus on the specific arguments of this legal dispute.
This is bad news for Dannielynn and Smith’s legal team. The remaining legal issues surrounding this litigation are fairly straightforward and uncomplicated. J. Howard Marshall was legally allowed to direct his bequest to whomever he pleased, and he chose his son Pierce. He never intended to leave any portion of his estate to Smith or her heirs. We know these things because that’s what the jury found after a six-month trial in Texas. We also know that, under the doctrine of res judicata, each of these findings must be upheld in any other courts that look at this case.
At this point, of course, the tragic center of this saga is not Smith, but Dannielynn. One fears, at worst, that this child may be being used as leverage to support the ongoing claims of Smith’s lawyers and a number of hangers-on who seek to get rich quick.
You know this is what is so sad. Dannielynn is nothing but a pawn to the lawyers and Larry and Howard.
o.k. But, I don’t want sod and others wandering off, believing they were on the wrong track. They had it right to begin with. HK$ has always been after the money. Now, he just wants to stay out of jail.
