I have no idea what you are talking about. I've never posted anything negative about Hunter. As a matter of fact, I've supported him.

Get your facts straight before you call someone else a whiner, you lying whiner.

Look at the Democrat front runners, what are the Democrats thinking?

They are laughing their arses off.

Their agitprop wing, the Mass Media chose the Republican "front runners" and made it so by telling Republicans everywhere those were the "front runners". (The big lie is alive and well).

Hillary probably has .pdf files of every scrap from their FBI Files, and enough dirt to scuttle each and every one of them. She is flanked by O'bama and Breck Girl, neither of which will win while she breathes.

Sound like a setup? It is.

The media have ALWAYS given Hillary the soft questions, ignore the wrongdoings, and more than enough of them still gush over her (>GAG!<)

Like him or not (I'm a Hunter fan, myself.), Fred is the one Republican candidate with enough name recognition who was not selected for ease in later destruction during the campaign.

Other less known candidates can be ignored by the media, and unless the internet can fill that gap, they will not get the airtime they need to build a strong war chest.

Fred is the wild card.

So expect the full court press, with every stumble, second of dead air, unremembered word, and teleprompter malfunction televised like Gerald Ford tripping over cables strung along the ground while he had kleig lights in his face and was attempting to look at the reporter asking him a question, or Bob Dole falling after leaning against an ill secured railing.

Expect questions like "Have you quit beating your wife yet?", answers cut off in mid sylable, crappy make-up, bad lighting, and camera angles calculated to make him look older.

The media are going to attack Fred pissless, in every way they can, because they are afraid of him.

I hope Fred is up to dealing with it, and imho, this just might explain why he waited to declare.

I was thinking of apologizing. After all, Slick apologized to africans for slavery, and that Summers guy apologized to Harvard for having testicles. ;o)

I’m sure she felt betrayed. But no one would like to get castigated like that on national television. She’s used to being attacked on the news shows, but she’s usually there to defend herself and get her own digs in.

I had not read through all the posts at the time I posted. I’m glad someone else remembers it besides me. I hope that is not the root of this kerfluffle about Fred.

I like Ann when she disses liberals and Democrats. That is a much bigger target. Can’t say I’m fond of the idea of Ann dissing conservatives. That is like a circular firing squad.

No, you're both mean-spirited. Are the Fred supporters posting negative article after negative article about Hunter?

Those are your words. Evidently name calling is all you have. You started it and then piss and moan when you get called on it. typical.

Yes, I'm sure you're right, but Ann made a mistake this time around. Unless she wants to see a Democrat in the White House, she might consider that Hunter is not going to benefit by her criticism of Thompson.

The part I didn’t like was when she said conservatives needed guidance for the primaries. Like I can’t figure things out for myself? That was the worst thing she said, besides don’t vote for.....

I have often liked her, and still do but don’t like this one. She’s not right on this one.

I absolutely agree. Frankly, I'm shocked that Ann would say something like that. I've always liked her, too.

Well it’s only fair.

If Mattel had only apologized for how crappy cakes tasted out of the Easy Bake Oven many years ago they could have avoided this mess..

Fred probably saved himself (and us) about $30 million dollars by waiting until the traditional time to launch his campaign for the Presidency.
It was not by accident.
As He is fond of saying, it’s “not his first rodeo”.
They have good reason to be afraid.

So Ann is now telling us that we need “guidance”,.... from her and James Dobson, I presume. (disclaimer, I haven’t listened to the clip, busy today, so I’m going on thread comments)

My husband is no Ann-fan whatsoever, other than to look at her. He says next time she’s on, he’s going to hit the mute button as he just can’t stand her shock-jock delivery. Based on these latest comments from her, he may be entirely on target with his opinion.

Talking down to the voters, yeah that’s sure to make lots of people listen to you, Ann. Not that I don’t believe for one second that your producers aren’t heavily involved in what you say and don’t say on their shows to begin with.

Imho, the 'big rush' was a gold rush started by the MSM, and orchestrated by them. They kept dollar stats like body counts, and in the end, all it will mean, really is that a lot of early money will have been sent swirling down the rathole.

By not getting in until the regular time, Fred built suspense, that 'buzz' generating free exposure and airtime through media specualtion. Cheap and effective, imo.

He has the name recognition already, so he does not have to buy it.

While I take issue with his vote on China trade status (I think they will be the next major conventional military we face in the field and that they are already test flying other unconventional ways to hurt the US), he is far closer than Rudy, Mitt, or McCain to what I am looking for.

Hunter is the most perfectly aligned on the issues, though.

>When we as a nation are able to produce viable candidates without name recognition, who will win on issues, then we will have a real election.<

The American public has been so successfully dumbed down by their educators that they can’t recognize a viable candidate’s take on the issues as being worth voting for, so we haven’t had a “real election” since Ronald Reagan’s second term.

Yes, we have two men with fire in their bellies, their priorities properly lined up. One, Tom Tancredo, should be named Homeland Security Secretary and Duncan Hunter should be elected President. Now THAT would be a real election!
