whose director said it was the part of meteor that caused a massive explosion in Siberia

A pretty rare find considering the fact that nothing of the object that caused the Tunguska explosion has ever been found.

I think I heard in high school science class that the explosion was the result of a matter-antimatter collision ...

Yep, the object that exploded about five miles over Tungunska pretty much obliterated itself in the blast.
