It has to do with FR’s history and biases amongst the powers that be—especially certain mods and their influence.

At FR’s beginning, such topics and postings were construed by some rabid . . . uninformed, unaware folks to be

deliberate troll sabotage of FR trying to make FR look foolish and to destroy FR’s respectability and clout in the body politic. Many serious folks merely wanting to discuss a viable current phenomenon in terms of conservatism and political trends of modern events . . . several such got banned for such postings.

Thankfully, saner heads have prevailed and we “merely” get thrown in chat, these days.

I doubt that will change until UFO’s land on some mod’s front lawns or “bless” some mods with some abductions and anal probes with full memory recall.

MAYBE when UFO’s are routinely on CNN and The President is openly talking about our war with them . . . FR MIGHT join the modern world on the topic.

None of us are holding our breath.
