My daughter is 6, and this year she has learned how to cast (that fishing rig you showed won’t work very well for salt-water fishing), and she’s learning how to drive the boat.

We don’t have much salt water here on the west coast of Ohio, so that reel should work fine when they fish on the local lakes. ;)

LOL, a bluefish would tear that rig up in a heartbeat. My girls love fishing for blues, but they only fight them for acouple mintes before pasiing the rod of to me.
