Morning Win-mag. The Bushnell Banner .22 3X-9X has a knob on the magnification ring, to make it easier to adjust the magnification. The ring moves counter clockwise to raise the magnification. When it is set at 3X the bolt hits the knob, by setting it at 4X (or higher), the bolt clears the knob. I picked up one of these scopes from the local Bushnell factory outlet; there is usually a good selection of all the Bushnell products in new, refurbrished or demo/sample condition. I like a low mounted scope, helps minimize bifocal blur. I opted for a .22 scope since the paralex is set 50 yds.
When I had the 4-12 AO scope (also a busnell banner) on the rifle, it needed a medium height ring for objective lense to clear the rear sight. I leave the iron sights on the scoped rifles (if they have them), you just never know when you’ll need them. The 4-12 is now on the Ruger bull-barrel 10-22. We’ll see how that set up works with the new (to me) scope on it.
Nice set up, osage...

mulchin’ leaves on the agenda too...
