Not a bit. I thought they did an *excellent* job with it.
In other news... make a list of everything that is wrong with the cosmos.

She-witch sez it's all my fault. :P
Ping to #9401.
How much longer do you have at this job anyway?

But they’re spendy. I could go for a not signed, not limited copy.
So there’s that. ;-)
I got in some work on the double-strange blanket this morning. It’s not taking me three hours (!! Still think that’s insane!), but I will likely finish it tomorrow. Might even run it up there this weekend. Hm.
As irritating as all that was, and as out of control my pulse is right now, I feel very confirmed in my decision to move on. And that's a net plus.
Hey awesome. That would make a nice gift for someone I know. Thank you!
Er...*double-strand*!! Whut a typo...
It’s strangely thick, but that’s on account of the double strands...
Need coffee.
Do you still have my address? ;-)
I don’t think I ever got it, actually.
*rats*
Teehee.. when I was working on my Nano, every time I tried to type the word “date” the word “data” appeared on the screen. That was instructive on just how much I needed to get work out of my system.
Sigh. My story is calling and I have to neglect it probably until Monday...
Heh. That’s true. But she did fire my office mate last fall over stupid stuff. He sued and got reinstated!
We had about an inch and a half of snow yesterday and a little bit of freezing rain. Luckily it was down to wet roads with patches of slush during the commute yesterday afternoon. Temps stayed above freezing overnight but they’re predicting on an off freezing rain for the next few days.
I like the way it feels, too. But it *is* kinda bulky. I’m worrying about that a bit. I want a blanket like this myself because I like handling it and I like the weight of it (seems like it’d make for a nice cozy couch throw!), but it might be a little thick for a baby blankie. Oh well.
I do want to make another, about twice as wide, to keep. :) I need more yarn...
And I’d need to pick colors, which is always tough. Obnoxiously bright? Or something calm, like maybe light brown and blue?
Is it double worsted or double sport-weight?
Worsted - it’s what the lady who did the pattern said she used, and it’s what I had.
I wish sport-weight yarn wasn’t so much pricier. :-\
