I just love the irony of them spamming everyone in the company (many thousands of people) with a message telling them to not save their voice mail for too long because they are running out of space.
Well I would not want to forget that so I guess I will save their message about it...
Worst Cchristmastime song ever is “Christmas Shoes”. I hate that song. The Christmas-religious song I dislike the most is “Mary Did You Know” because it just sounds so affected to me.
Give me good old carols, things everyone knows, Mannheim Steamroller, and if you have to get inventive sing some of the carols that are less common lie “While Shepherds Watched Their Flocks”.

Sneaksy tricksey black ice out there this morning. Had to scrape my windshield. Not ~necessarily~ a big deal, but they’ve been telling us it was going to warm up.
Passed several accidents this a.m. One right at the entrance to the toll road. If the guy in the Mustang was still alive, he was messed up pretty badly. Same with whoever was driving the turned-over/twisted SUV in the south lane I passed a few minutes later.
Took me over an hour to get here. Usually it’s about 20 minutes.
Make sure to ping me about the picture. And if they have another one with the other 11 GOP Presidents, check on that too.

No fun. The snow here was only a couple inches, good solid footing, only saw one accident on the way in and it was a fender bender. I just hope the roads are clear tonight for us to go to Chicago.
We’re so borderline on weather that people often forget to be careful. We have more issues with ice than snow.

One of these days I *will* get a full copy of Messiah. Every time I go looking for one, I only seem to find the really pricey versions. :-\
And “Mary Did You Know” is usually done by someone who does it in a completely overwrought, thoroughly embarrassing way. Ick.
“Mary Did You Know” is actually one of my favorites, but it’s been waaaaaay over done. The best version is the original by Mark Lowry (who wrote the lyrics) when he was with the Gaither Vocal Band.
