In this position it will not allow the trigger to be pulled. Don’t bother with that one.

*snort*

Yeah, I think some very expensive business jets out in the hanger are about to lower in value slightly.

Well, I’m back. That’s done!

I’m having a proper breakfast now.

First, I take a tablespoon of butter and melt it in the bottom of a cast iron skillet.

Then I take a handful of tortilla chips and crunch them up in the bottom.

Then I drop two eggs on top of that and then dump some hot sauce in on top of them. Then I cover them and let them cook till almost firm.

Then I flip the whole thing in the pan and put a layer of cheddar jack cheese on top, turn the heat off and cover it up. When the cheese is melty, I remove the eggs.

I then put a tablespoon of butter back into the skillet, then two big glops of refried beans. I re-fry the refried beans till hot then serve them up with the eggs!

Breakfast!

Is anyone else having problems with the consistency of rate with the passage of time? Seems to be a bit slow in Iowa for some reason.

Wait... so they are three-fried beans?

Precisely!

Re-frying the refried beans in bacon grease is really good, but butter’ll do.

So...how late in the year can I wait to plant bulbs? (jonquils and tulips)

To: no one in particular

So, no one in my family (of the people who do not work regular 9-5 hours - meaning everyone but me) can tell me exactly when the trash is picked up. I don’t know if we’re off schedule for the holiday week or not.

I’m refrosting the garage freezer (no, not really a typo), so I have a whole bunch of questionable food (from the last power outage) in trash bags because the cans are full. It was frozen when I put it out there, but it’s pushin’ 60.

I think I see a trip to the landfill in my afternoon future.

Still, Christmas is out of ~the attic~ and I’m just restin’ a bit afore tacking the next project.

Well, you’re way ahead of us. Still it’s quite remarkable how many catalogs you can get from one company. Cabella’s is about one catalog a week. (sure got some neat stuff though) and others we haven’t ordered from in years.

Well, we have planted them pretty late some years but if the tulips and jonquils are planted before a good hard freeze you should be okay.

I might be able to plant them Saturday. But I’m really thinking of holding off until after the show. So they’d be planted right before Christmas.

Heh, that’s a good breakfast or dinner or supper. I think grilled cheese are on our agenda for lunch.

You might be okay, just a matter of what the weather does.

Grilled cheese and tomato soup is one of the best comfort food meals ever, IMO.

I didn’t manage to bring lunch today. Gonna be the deli again today, which I shouldn’t be doing. They’re good, but pricey.

I figure I’ve just about reached the halfway point with mine. How long the rest is depends a lot on whether I remove the original main character, who has yet to make an appearance. At this point, I’m not sure she’s even needed.

Actually...I don’t really know where I’m going next. My original plot has almost completely disappeared. As usual.

I didn’t pack shorts and it’s 76 degrees.

At least ice cream was on sale.
