Well, shucks, the article isn’t there. sigh. and all that html stuff done gone to waste.

I guess that explains why my car is so messy.
I sprayed the tomatoes for aphids not long after I first set them out and haven’t noticed any infestations until I saw some on my soybeans last weekend. Lots of white fly buzzing around, though.
The walnut trees are especially aphid infested this year, but elms are in the running as well. The hard freeze we had shocked the trees and they started making extra sap hence the explosion in the aphid population.
The entomologists don’t know which species of aphid is the main culprit but they are in agreement that the drippings are ‘honeydew’ aka aphid poop.
I prefer to think it is stocking up on potential spare parts. I rarely throw anything out that is salvagable, might be useful later on, isn’t worn out or used up or can’t be adapted for another use sometime.
