I got the graphic the first time.
Canyon Moot - Yup, count on two more, though LSA says ‘no way’ to the walkway “over the Canyon”.
That’s affirmative, winmag. Dilbert nails it most of the time, it must have something to do with the universal corporate culture, the names may be different but they all tend to ‘disfunction’ the same.
Particularly Madeline Stowe, IMHO!
The music gives me such goosebumps. You'd think it was January the way I'm all goose-bumply'd up right now.
Okay, seriesly, I want to do this. I won’t know for sure about our summer schedule next year until the end of January. If the choir goes back to Slovakia, we’re planning to go.
But I’ll start researching options. It may take a couple of years to schedule it all anyway.
Are we talkin’ a week’s worth of raftin? Or maybe just some camping nearby and a day or so of rafting. From what I understand, unless you do the full two weeks, you have to be helicoptered in or out on one end of the journey.
If we’re all series, I’ll start workin’ on this.
I’m series. I’ve got family in Flagstaff that I’d like to see, and my Mom, of course down in the desert, so it would be a perfect storm of reasons to head back to the rim country.
I don't know. I've been in situations too weird to express in a Dilbert cartoon.
Okay, this is just first glance, but this isn’t bad.
It’s only three days, but includes transport and everything from Las Vegas. And flying to Vegas can usually get you decent rates. Those what didn’t want to raft could hang out in the casinos until we got back.

It’s not the only option, but it’s intriguing.
Yes it is - we have LOM on tape, may have to get it on disc. I’ve got the cassette tape of the sound track, too. That is a very well made movie (historical inaccuracies aside) that is a visual treat. Not many movies that recent can stand up to repeated viewings like that one can; LOTR being in that category as well.
Ah, yes, perhaps I should have said ~ most tend to ~ disfunction that way...
Okay...I needz help.
Luke wants a Star Wars lunchbox for school. Since, of course no Star Wars movie was released this year, they’re not in stores (you would have thought with the 30th anniversary they’d put ‘em out).
Anyway, I’ve found them new with tags on eBay, but have lost two auctions so far ‘cause I’m not willing to pay $40 for a lunch box. I’d probably push it to $25. But that’s about it.
Thoughts? Suggestions?
That certainly does look interesting; there is a lot options available and like LF we have relatives in that part of the southwest.
Well, I think I would try to get him to choose a second choice from the ones that are actually in the store.
Get a plain one and tell him he can put stickers on it. :~)
We’ll probably just let him pick one out. I can get him a decent one for about $5.
He just really ~loves~ Star Wars.
He was born 35 years too late :~)
Considering I was 14 at the time, that’s probably a good thing.
Actually though, they released a whole series in 2004. Vinyl with plastic water bottles (no more glass thermos). Those are the ones I’ve found on eBay goin’ for about $40.
