So either the thread dementor lifted this idea off the silly author or vice versa (remember the red herring argument re teenage male homoeroticism???), either way, it suggests that opponents of HP are fixated on sexual perversions.

I feel like haffa cuppa carp warmed over. Mrs. and Jr. got Luke’s cold (again, contracted at my Mom’s), and it degenerated in to a flu-ish type of carp, followed by severe sinus infections. They both went to the doctor yesterday for antibiotics and have been wiped out with severe migraines.

I stayed home yesterday ‘cause we had a business appt. in the a.m. and then we were going to finish de-frapping Luke’s room whilst he’s still gone (he gets back today). That didn’t happen.

I’m hoping I’m not picking up the cold, but I’m feeling some of the effects this morning.

Hi folks, kind of agreed with the HP thread point that there is a big difference between what TLOTR says about gaining magical power, and what appears to be the approach in HP (confession, haven’t read a page of HP or seen a movie).

Speaking of TLOTR and movies, remember the trilogy will be on TNT tonight, tomorrow and Sunday nights (tonight at 8 PM).
