The Hobbit Hole XXXIV - But better than rain or rippling streams...

Posted on 08/07/2007 7:52:15 AM PDT by HairOfTheDog

Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

Sing hey! for the bath at close of day
That washes the weary mud away!
A loon is he that will not sing:
O! Water Hot is anoble thing!

O! Sweet is the sound of falling rain.
and the brook that leaps from hill to plain;
but better than rain or rippling streams
is Water Hot that smokes and steams.

O! Water cold we may pour at need
down a thirsty throat and be glad indeed;
but better is Beer, if drink we lack,
and Water Hot poured down the back.

O! Water is fair that leaps on high
in a fountain white beneath the sky;
but never did fountain sound so sweet
as splashing Hot Water with my feet!

I’m an Amazon Prime subscriber, so I don’t have to worry about shipping costs. ;~)

Anywho, is this about the type I should be looking for?

Yeah - did you hear me telling him to put a sock in it?

You may want to do some poking around in APC's knowledge base to see what they say about using the various models with a generator. I found this, but there are other articles, too.

Heh...no, I didn’t. Apparently he’s learning, huh?

It’s just such a peculiar noise! From this distance, it’s more intriguing than annoying...but it does get Cisco worked up.

Oh, and to add to my post...I would definitely go with *something* APC, I think. Their support is superb, and their products work well.

And considering how much the durned things weigh, free shipping is worth a LOT.

Yeah - Cisco comes and looks every time.

Some say it’s music, listening to hounds... I do not say that :~)

They’re kind of like bagpipes...rather pleasant and stirring and musical and such when heard from a distance...nerve-destroying when up close. ;-)

Okey-doke. Thanks.

And yah, we make sure the Amazon Prime pays for itself. :)

There’s an article at apc.com that lists specific SKU’s that are recommended for use with a generator. I’m freepin on my phone or I’d send a link.

Well... I’m restless. I think maybe I’ll go cause some trouble on a schiavo thread. :-)

I think Lady Galadriel has gone a little too far Into the West

She’s prettier than Bob ever was.

But she looks like she’d make a good Frodo. :~)

Ookay...

Some of Bob Dylan’s lyrics might as well be elvish for as understandable as they are, especially as he sings ‘em, but...that’s a bit of a stretch.

I don’t get it. What kind of movie is it?!?

A very art-house type biopic with a number of actors portraying different aspects of Bob Dylan.

She’s also reprising her role as Elizabeth I in a sequel. The cinematography looks yummy.
