Hey - we got the Amazon box you ordered, and we also got a cooler full of frozen meat from your brother :~D mmmm.... steaks....
Hey there... will be down this afternoon some time. Am playing with the weather station and software. This new one does way cooler things than the old one.
Well, it seems like you’ll have all kinds of weather to track today, a little bit of everything! :~)
Yah... there’s lots of good weather out there. Getting to see pretty much all of the parts work.
Having trouble with the internet update to Weather Underground though. Having trouble getting through to the server. Have you noticed anything wonky with WU today? or is it just me?
Nasty cold and rainy here in SW Virginia.
We haven’t used WU that much... so I can’t really say...
Here too at the moment... but in 15 minutes, it’ll be different. :~)
In spite of the over-the-top, “we’re all gonna die”, weather reporting, the snowstorm came and went in the course of about 5 hours, leaving no more than 1-2 inches of snow in the metro area. It was a pretty snow, fairly wet, the main roads are now clear, and the side streets are messy, as usual. From what I’ve heard, no one is having much trouble getting around. LSA
Whoops... I guess flash objects dontawerk.
Yeah - that works! :~)
Every now and then it just stops talking to WU. Not sure why. Seems OK for the moment.
Do you have to ~do~ anything to get it to work again or does it just start working again?
Latest weather report—first weekend in 5 with no precip, expected. They are making noises about snow on Monday though :-(

It all came here. We got another couple-three inches. We’re thinking of getting a snowblower.
Snow is one of the reasons I moved out of Ohio.
If anybody's interested... here's the page for the new Weatherstation.
No further word from Suziq today?
~fret~
Traditionally, Kansas City gets rain, sleet or freezing drizzle before the snow falls, so this snowfall was welcomed by it’s lack of drama. I was able to take Gypsy for two walks today which she really, really appreciated.
