I think when he finishes with them or gets to the point where they only need riding time, we'll have him start with Friday and CJ.
We've also been thinking about gelding Sonny and turning him into a trail horse - still don't know for sure what we will do there. I need to get new pictures of Sam and Rocky too so I can get some opinions on them.
We think Lace would be a great youth horse, she's very athletic and yet pretty enough for show. Slick will be able to do about anything - I still see him English or Endurance.
But he is a well put together horse, good topline, nice stride (even with the new sensation of a rider on his back) and handsome head. I could see him as an English horse - wonder what his jumping form will look like. If I saw his canter stride I might have a clue (of course I'm always considering a horse's combined training prospects . . . :-D )
In my experience, showing means open shows leading to breed shows, so it wouldn’t even consider it an issue that he’s an English appaloosa. All of them would be appaloosas ;~)
I think both are nice and well marked, always a plus!
I’ll look forward to more pictures!
